Why is being self-aware so important?
Being self-aware means knowing owns strengths and weaknesses. When this knowledge becomes apparent, strengths can be built upon further and weaknesses can become a focus for improvement.
Better choices are made. When we are aware of how our decisions will effect ourselves and others, we are able to make better choices.
Self-esteem and confidence rises. Having self-awareness means having control over ones life. With the realization of being in control of ones own life comes self-esteem and confidence.
